The Pan-Pacific Festival celebrates culture, traditions, and family fun! The next Festival takes place June 11-13, 2021 in beautiful Waikiki and is expected to draw 100,000 attendees from Hawaii and around the world. The Festival kicks off on Friday with our Hoolaulea, a block party that features a little something for everyone. Enjoy multiple performance stages filled with musicians, dancers, singers, taiko drummers and other cultural performers. Food vendors and Island crafters will also line Kalakaua Avenue. At the Diamond Head end of the Hoolaulea there will be a festive Bon Dance with kimono-clad performers. The 20th annual Hula Festival happens on all 3 days. Relax, listen to the rolling surf, and watch the sunset as halau from Japan share the stage with local halau each night at the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound. The Performing Arts Showcase will be held at several shopping malls in Waikiki and Ala Moana. The Festival wraps up on Sunday, June 13 with the Pan-Pacific Parade marching down Kalakaua Avenue. The parade will feature colorful participants from Hawaii, across the country and around the world. For more information visit www.pan-pacific-festival.com. All events are free and open to the public. Schedules, details and a list of performers will be available in the month of May, prior to the event.
