Top 10: Romantic Spots on Oʻahu

It's February, and love is in the air at Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk! Whether you are celebrating a honeymoon, babymoon, or just a much needed couple's getaway, we've got your checklist for swoon-worthy island locations. Our criteria considered stunningly beautiful locales, new adventures to try together, and places where you can relax and reconnect.

1. Koko Crater
Plan a sunrise hike up the side of this dormant volcanic tuff cone by climbing over 1,000 stairs. You'll be rewarded with endorphins and amazing views of East Oʻahu from the top! Then, explore the desert-like landscape, unique plumeria bloom varieties, and cactus garden inside the crater at the Koko Crater Botanical Garden

2. Whale Watching
Experience the annual migration of humpback whales as they breed, birth, and nurse their young in Hawaiʻi's warm waters from November through May. Book a whale watching tour to learn about these gentle giants and spot them spouting and breeching.

3. Your Private Lanai
Sip coffee, take in the trade wind breeze, or toast to the sunset! The views from your own suite can't be beat, especially when you book the Ocean Suite Deal at Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk. You'll receive 25% off when you book a minimum 4-night stay in an Ocean View Suite.

4. Manoa Falls
Hike the 0.8 mile Manoa Falls Trail through a tropical rainforest and bamboo forest to view an impressive 150-ft. waterfall. You'll want to stop along the way for plenty of photo ops, but fair warning: it can be muddy!

5. Honolulu Museum of Art
Art buffs will fall for the charming courtyards, extensive galleries, and rotating exhibitions at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Make a reservation at the HoMA Café for a leisurely lunch alfresco amidst sculptures and water features.

6. A Daybed on our Grand Lanai
Lounge together in one of the reservable daybeds or private cabanas on the pool deck at the hotel. Sunbathe in the Hawaiian sunshine, sip tropical cocktails, and soak in the whirlpool spa.

7. Sunset Catamaran Sail
Sip champagne as you set sail on a catamaran cruise directly from the sands of Waikiki Beach. Take in views of Diamond Head, the Waikiki skyline, and of course, the orange & pink glow as the sun sinks below the horizon.

8. Live Music at Pakini Bar
Relax under the stylish poolside pavilion at Pakini Bar and listen to the sounds of local artists playing Hawaiian and contemporary music on Wednesday through Sunday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

9. Dinner at Sky Waikiki
Dine on raw oysters and fresh seafood at this rooftop bar and nightclub perched on the 19th floor. The elevated atmosphere and panoramic views of Waikiki and the Pacific Ocean scream "date night."
