New Tunes and Tropical Tastes at Pakini Bar

At Pakini Bar, we invite you to sit back, relax and make the most of your Waikiki vacation. Our poolside retreat serves up a seasonal selection of locally-inspired drinks, a light lunch menu and live island music – all transporting you to paradise. If it's been a while since your last visit, you'll be delighted with these new sounds and sips. Here's the latest to look forward to!

Cocktail of the Month
There's always a new beverage to sip at Pakini Bar. Our expert bartenders love to get creative to please your taste buds with new concoctions. In February, enjoy Berries N Cocoa, a blended beauty crafted with Tito's Vodka, Kahlua, strawberry purée, blackberries, chocolate syrup and ice cream mix. Think: boozy milkshake, perfect to share with your special someone. Two straws, please!

New Live Music
We are excited to welcome two new local artists to the live music line-up at Pakini Bar: Jasson "Jeh" Empleo and Rachel Faith! They join a talented group of musicians who perform contemporary and Hawaiian music on Thursdays through Sundays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Meet the Musicians

Jasson "Jeh" Empleo
Music is Jeh's way of spreading love and good vibes. He grew up on the West side of Oahu entertaining his family via their karaoke machine. Now, he plays shows at restaurants and bars around the island, as well as charitable gigs at local hospitals.

Rachel Faith
Rachel brings a spirit of aloha and energy to Pakini Bar. She is a songwriter and ukulele player who loves incorporating different genres into her music. When she's not entertaining, she teaches students at a local music academy.

Shawn Garnett
You may recognize this Hawaiian born-and-raised singer/songwriter, radio personality and actor from his reoccurring role as Cousin Flippa on Hawaii 5-0 and Magnum P.I. At Pakini Bar, Shawn will surprise you with his smooth island vibes and original music, plus an unforgettable personality.

Tehani Whittington
A Native Hawaiian artist born and raised on Oahu, Tehani loves sharing her vocals, ukulele and guitar rhythms, and bright smile with audiences. She keeps her set interesting by bouncing between a variety of genres, including reggae, Hawaiian, country, pop and R&B.
