Cheers! New Sips & Sounds at Pakini Bar

The moment you visit Pakini Bar, you know you're on vacation. Surrounded by lush landscaping and waterfalls, the poolside hangout spot serves up a curated selection of locally-inspired drinks, a light lunch menu and live island music – all transporting you to paradise. If you haven't stopped by in a while, you're in for a treat with these new tastes and tunes.

Cocktail of the Month
A fresh concoction debuts each month on the Pakini Bar menu. In April, enjoy the Waikiki Sunset, a vibrant beverage created by our bartender Ethan Kimura. He says, "With the flavors of citrus island fruits, it really takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the world and into true paradise. A perfect cocktail to enjoy after a long day in Hawaii." We snagged the recipe for you, so you can make it at home and dream of your next trip to Oahu:

Waikiki Sunset Cocktail

Combine in a cocktail shaker with ice:

1.5 oz Pineapple Vodka
1 oz Carpano Botanic Bitters
¾ oz Calamansi Juice
¾ oz Passion Fruit Puree

Shake and pour into a tall glass. Top with a splash of soda. Garnish with your choice of citrus and a Maraschino cherry.

New Live Music
We are excited to welcome two new local artists to the live music line-up at Pakini Bar! They join a talented group of musicians who perform contemporary and Hawaiian music on Wednesdays through Sundays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Wednesdays - Tehani Whittington
A Native Hawaiian artist born and raised on Oʻahu, Tehani loves sharing her vocals, ukulele and guitar rhythms, and bright smile with audiences. She keeps her set interesting by bouncing between a variety of genres, including reggae, Hawaiian, country, pop and R&B.

Saturdays – LJ Wells
LJ Wells has a passion for music in all forms, inspired by those who paved the road before him. From old school Kanikapila to today's mix and everything in between, he will make you love music just as much as he does, and pours that into how he plays.
